Fred Birchall, a battery attendant, who lives at 87, Hutt road, Petone, had his right ankle injured at the Public Works Department camp at Ngahauranga at about 7 o'clock this morning, ns the result of a battery falling on it. After receiving attention from Dr. Aitlvnn, ho was taken to tho Hospital by the City Ambiance. Kirkcaldie and Stains, Ltd., intimate that Monday, 10th inst., is the last discount day for monthly, 'accounts.—Adrt.
