TWILIGHT A.A. MEETINGS
A meeting of club representativel has been held and certain recommendations have been made to the centre regarding evening sports meetings for the season. The plans provide for the clubs controlling a meeting in turn, each Monday evening, commencing at 6 o'clock, and that tho programmes as far as possible shall provide competition in all branches of the sport. Entries arc to close the Friday preceding tho meeting, and no late entries will be received. It is proposed to hold the first meeting on the Basin Reserve on. 17th November under the joint control of the Brooklyn and Scottish" Clubs. Cycle races will be included when tho meetings are held on the Basin Reserve, and when at Athletic Park it is proposed to cater for tho cyclists at a special meeting at Petona the following Wednesday.
