FUNERAL OF CAPTAIN A. M. EDWIN
The funeral of the late Captain A. M. Edwin took place yesterday afternoon. There was a large attendance at St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral, where the first portion of the burial service -was'held—Canon James, vicar ot St. Paul's, oiliciuting. A number of wreaths wei'o' received from shipping and mercantile firms, and ono from the New Zealand Army Nursing Sisters. The chief mourners were Mrs. Gorton and Miss : Edwin; (sisters). The pall-bearerst/were Captains I". Baron, Wori rail, J." P. Foster, A. S. Dalgleish, S. Nicholson, and F. A. Macindoe. Amongst those present -were the Hon. Dr. Collins, Mr. W. IL Field, ■ M.l*:, Sir Alexander Roberts, Messrs. C. H. F. M'Pherson, W. H. Price, A. H. Miles, Mrs. Sprott, Mrs. Coleridge, Di\ A. - Paterson, Miss Patcrson, Mr. B. W. G. Coleridge, Major Watson, A. Macintosh, Andrews. Captains Wills, Shilling, Whybornc, G. T. Hall, C. M'Arthur, It. P. Hall, J. Dawson, V. Webb, Edge, M'Kellnr, Olphert, W. D. Cameron, E: S. Peterson, J. O'Neil, and-a number of old Wellington residents. The concluding part of the burial service was held at the crematorium, Karori. ' "' ■
