FIRE AT TE AWAMUTU
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) TE AWAMUTCT, This Day. Pire at Kihikihi last night destroyed a shop and, dwelling of iix rooms. The absence of a water supply resulted iv the building being conrpletely destroyed, and all efforts wore concentrated to stop the spread of the flames 1o the adjoining hotel and a shop occupied by Mr. William Taylor, bootmaker. There was no insurance on the dwelling, which was occupied by Mr. G. Dyer. The furniture and efforts were insured for £150. The shop is owned by Mr. P. 0. H'flinn, and was insured for £500 in the Queensland office.
