MRS. BRUCE MISSING
LOST IN INDO-CHINA SOMJS ANXIETY FELT HONG KONG, 4th Nov. Some anxiety is felt here for the safety of Mrs. Victor Bruce, who is flying from London toTokio. Local Shell interests advised that she left Bangkok on Saturday morning _ for Hanoi, but telegraphic inquiries fail to elicit information, hence it is presumed that she has not arrived there. It is possible that she landed at Vinh, where there is a good aerodrome, but no news is obtainable. The flight from Bangkok to Hanoi is over wild mountain country coverable in six hours. The absence of news here is causing great concern.
