SLIPPED ON BEACH
DISABLED, THEN DROWNED

DUNEBIN, This Day.
At the inquest on James Eiley, aged 60, married, whoso body was found on the rocks at St. Clair Beach on Sunday morning, the Coroner remarked that the deceased apparently slipped and fell on the rough stony beach, was disabled, and thereupon drowned. A verdict of found drowned was returned.
