The WellingtoiL Aero: Club's fourth machine,, a Moth, was brought from Auckland ."■ yesterday by Mr. C. Si. Duthie. It was originally purchased in England by Mr.VI. Horton,.who flew it\at Home for 60 hours.and then brought it; to New Zealand; He used it for 100 hours .of flying in Auckland before; it was acquired by tho Wellington Club. . Mr. Duthio ■ left Auckland at 10 o'clock yesterday morning and reached New. Plymouth at .12.12. Continuing ,his flight,; he 'landed- at Feilding .f or fuel, and reached the Bongotai Acro'drome at s.2o,.after coining down round, the, coast and past Cape Terawhiti owing .to low-lying clouds affecting the visibility. ..A', strong, north-westerly wind was encountered all the way. .-The machine has been tested by Captain G..L.,Stedman, pilot-instructor of the club, and will be placed in commission very shortly.
