NEW ZEALAND SOUND-FILMS
New Zealand talkies, or rather filmmusic, will presently be heard in public. Signox- A P. Truda's Orchestrina, familiar to 2YA radio enthusiasts, has synchron"ised incidental music (mainly airs of sea songs) to a new sword-fishing picture, also, a performance of tho Maori song "E Pari Ra," and a sound picture version of the Orchestrina playing the National Anthem. The well-knovri radio performers, Will Bishop and the Melodic Four, have also been "put on record." Success haa attended the synchronisation of music by the Orchestrina with "New Zealand topical pictures, so that as a result of patient and careful experiment at the Miramar film laboratory New Zealand,may be said to be definitely, in the sound 'picture !■• dustry.
