PAN-PACIFIC CONFERENCE
HONOLULU, 22nd August. The Paii-Paeifio Women's Conference Jtdjourned after adopting resolutions for tho promotion of peace, for tho welfare of tho women and children of the Pacific. Tlio association will be dedicated to tho strengthening of peace aud tho improving of the social conditions of the Pacific peoples generally. It is proposed to hold eonferoncos every two to five years. Now Zealand and Australia are anioiig the charter members.
Mrs. Georgina Sweet, of Melbourne, was elected presidont. The Institute of Pacific Relations has announced that its 1931 session will bo held in China.
