PRISONERS SENTENCED

NAPIER, This Day.
Leo Patrick Ellison, William Edward Edwards, and George Edwards, for breaking, entering, and theft at Dannevirke, wore sentenced at the Supreme Court. The two former prisoners were ordered reformative detention for twenty-four and eighteen months respectively. The third was granted three years' probation, and was forbidden to live within one hundred miles of Dannevirke.
A Native named Hcta Halunvai, for mischief, was granted three yours' probation.
