BRITISH TEAM'S 'OBSTRUCTION'
An echo of the British Rugby football team's tour was heard on Saturday night, when Mr. W. Hornig, a former member of the New Zealand Rugby Union, and manager of the AH Black team in South Africa in IC2S, speaking at a function held by the Petoue Football Club, gave liis views on the "obstruction methods which the tourists had been accused of employing. After referring to the undoubted success of the1 tour, he_ said that he had noticed the "obstruction" methods adopted by the visitors right from their early games. He had spoken to two authorities on the game who had recently, returned from the Old Country, and they had told him that from what they had seen of big football at Home, the "obstruction" to irhich the New Zealanders' objected was customary in the Old Country. "It appears that we are not nsed to that phase of then.1 play," said Mr.'Hornig, "in the same way that they find our wing-forward strange." \ -
