Miss Moii'tt Brunton and Miss Betty M'Parlaud returned to Wellington this morning after a short .visit to Christehurch. ' Dr. and Mrs. Craig and -the Misses Craig, Wellington, left yesterday for Auckland, en route to England. Mrs. Richard Moore, Cashmere Hills, Christchurch, arrived in Wellington this morning, and will stay several weeks. Miss Diana Allen, Christchurcli, who lias boon visiting England, is returning by the lonic this week. ■ Mrs. 33. G. Norman, Masterton, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Gardiner, Stunner. Mr. and Mrs. Bobert Shana, of Christohurch, returned from a visit" to Sydney by the Maunganui to-day.- and will i leave for Christchureh to-night. j Mr. and Mrs. W. B. .Bennett, San Francisco, arrived in.Wellington by tlio Makura yesterday, and will leave shortly for Cliristchurch to stay with Mrs. j, L. Janiieson. Lady Rutherford, wife of the famous scientist, Sir Ernest Rutherford, ' in-1 tends■ paying a visit to Now Zealand shortly. She will travel from England via Panama. Mr. and Mrs. E. Halsted were passengers by the Maunganui, arriving in Wellington to-day. Mrs. T. C. Enright, Auckland, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. J. B. Reid, Lyall Bay. Mrs. J. C. Baldwin, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Ivan Richards, Island Bay, has returned to her home in Ohristehureh. Miss Naneyc Le Cren, who has been spending the last few months in the North Island, has returned to Ohmstchurcli. Mr. and Mrs, M. Scotland, Wellington, are staying at Warner's Hotel, Christehureh. . Mr. and Mrs. W. Kinross-White and Messrs. A. and E. White, Hawkes Bay, who have been staying with Mrs. p. R. Woodhouse, Bluecliffes, have left Tiniaru, en route to the North Island. Miss M. Hanron, Rotorua, and Miss N. Hanron, Earotonga, are the guests of their sister, Mrs. J. B. Reid, at Lyall Bay. Miss Enid Bell, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. A; JS.. Wall, in Wanganui.. - . . •

Mr. and Mrs. Duncaa Bauchop, Wellington, are visitors to Wanganui.
