By the English mail wliich arrived yesterday Mr. W. B. Fisher, member o£ the Order of St. John, received a letter from Sir Thomas Wilford, High Commissioner in London, thanking Mr. Fisher for congratulations extended on the. occasion of Sir Thomas being knighted. Sir Thomas Wilford, stated that it was his intention to visit St. John's G-ate at Clerkenwell, the headquarters of the St. John Ambulance in London.
Silver foxes and other fur-bearing animals' are now being bred for their skins on over 500 farms in Germany.
