NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS

The entries for the New Zealand amateur boxing championships, to be hold in the Opera House, Palinerston North, oe 21st, 22nd, and 23rd August, closed last evening. The Wellington Association has indicated: that it will be represented in each class, and the Manavratu competitors will not be finally selected until Monday night, but it is expected that there will be about 80 boxers competing.
