ELECTRIC HARPOONS
NEW WEAPON AGAINST WHALES
OSLO, Bth August. The fust whaler fitted with electric •whale-killing apparatus will sail for the Antarctic on 12th August. Professor Weber, represeuting the patentees, will accompany the expedition. He says that experiments have shown that whales are .killed instantly. Only a weak current is required.
