SUCCESSFUL REUNION '

FUTURE OF THE KING'S CUP

Memories of the inter-Service; "Rugby football competition played in .England in 1918 for the King's ;Cup > were(revived at a reunion .last evening of the New Zealand Army Service team which won the covered trophy..-;-The reunion was the-first since.the toam.disbanded in 1919. : : '';,.". :i'-[ Mr. C. Brown (New Plymouth); ■sy-h'o was-captain of the.team, presided^ arid other members of the team present .were Messrs. A. E. Bellis, A. Bruce, M. Cain, W. B. Tea, W. Ford, A. G-ilchrisi,:'. E. W. Hasell, W. L. Henry, J. Kissick J. Moffitt, D. Sandman, S. J. Standen, and A. West. The gathering was; a largo one, and the proceedings wero most cordial. .. . . -..-,■ The following toasts wore honoured: "The King,' 3 "Absent Members,'' "Army and Great War," "Army, Team," and "The New Zealand and Wellington Eugby Unions.V - ;,:!■■■- The opinion was expressed- thifc the King's Cup, which is now in, Wellington, should bo placed in the" Memorial Hall to be erected on the-Mount.
