Muff and Biri covered sis furlongs in lmin 20 2-ssec, while their stable mate, Kakara, ran over the same ground in lmin 19 2-ssec^ doing the last half-mile nicely in 52sec. Kakara is a smart galloper who should run well in the Cashmere Plate. Brumal sprinted half a mile up the back. ... Battle Colours was staying on .better than Subdivision at the end of six furlongs run in lmin 34sec. Battle Colours is coming on in good style in his work. Lord Thomond and Painkiller ran five furlongs in lmin ssec, a smart performance. Full Feather and Semper Paratus wero associated in a run of seven furlongs, which they c vered,"in lmin 36 2-ssec. There vvas not much between thorn at the finish. Kapuna was schooled at a fair pace over two rounds of tho steeplechase fences, and gave an attractive exhibition of jumping. Corneroff and Omeo continued on together, going over the sod wall, the post and rails, and the kennels double twice. The pair gave a fine exhibition of jumping. Matu went on all right till ho came ,to the kennels double again, where lie was pulled up.
