REMANDED FOR SENTENCE
Charges of having attempted to ' indecently assault two boys were made against Edward William Koderique in the Supreme Court yesterday. The accused pleaded not guilty. His Honour the Chief Jus/tieo (Sir Michael Myers) was on the Bench. Mr. C, Evans-Scott prosecuted, and Mr. A. B. Sievwright appeared for Roderique.
The Court waa cleared during the hearing of evidence. No evidence was called for the defence.
In his address to the jury, Mr. Sievwright suggested that the evidence for the Crown was such that would justify them coming' to the conclusion without a great deal of hesitation that the accused wad not guilty of the charges against him.
The jury retired at the luncheon adjournment, and returned later in the afternoon with a verdict of guilty on both charges. Koderique was remanded until Friday for sentence.
