EIGHTY BODIES RECOVERED
EIGHTY STILL MISSING
BERLIN, 10th July.
The death roll in the colliery explosion at Hausdorf is expected to exceed a hundred and fifty. There were more than two hundred in the mine when the poison gas began to pour in.
Eighty bodies have been recovered, forty-nine have been rescued, and eighty are missing, and hope for these has been abandoned.
