FRANCE'S READINESS
DURING PRESENT YEAR
PARIS, 10th July.
It is learned that M. Briand has officially intimated to Mr. A. Henderson, British Foreign Secretary, France's readiness, with a view to tho furthering of Franco-Italian negotiations, to accept a proposal for a naval holiday, suspending the 1930 building programme' during the present year.
