KILBIRNIE KINEMA, j I "Their Own Desire,", which was presented at the Kllblmie Klncimi last evening. Is the story of a i-'irl whoso happiness came dangerously near frustration through tho machinations of a father who had grown tired of his wife, and sought diversion In other quartern. While "Their Own Desire" is not exactly a phase of Hie "sins of the fathers" idea, it gives a clearcut picture of tliG effect of parentnl inconipnli~ bilily on children, which in itself is something rather novel for screen use. Beautiful Norma Shearer takes the leading part, while Lewis Stone and JJello Bennett as tho parents are splendidly cast, and* other capable performances are given by Robert Montgomery, Helene Millard. Cecile Cunningham, Mary Doran. and June XaSh. Excellent sound featurettes will also ho screened. Reserve at Theatre Confectionery, Tel. 3 4-202, and Bristol Flano Co. .
