CONFERENCE ITEMS
The necessary authority was given at the Racing Conference yesterday to remove the headquarters staff from Chrisfcchurch to Wellington. The president, Mr. O. 8. Watkins, emphasised the need. of having the executive officers in close co-operation, and this would now be possible.
The following will constitute the members of the Executive Committee of the Baring Conference for the coming 5-ear: Messrs. O. S. Watkins (president), H. O. ><olan (vice-president), L. W. Nelson, H. A. Knight, A. C. Hanlon, J. S. M'Leod, W. T. Hazlett, L. A. Nolan, J. Perrett, T. E. Coates, and D. M. Findlay. Mr. I. G. Duncan was appointed yesterday a trustee of the Tracing Conference ttnda in place of the late Sir George Clifford.
