RACE RIDING
INSTRUCTION" OP APPRENTICES
Mr. J. R. Stanford, at the meeting of delegates of the Racing Conference yesterday, brought forward the question of riding and instruction of apprentices.
The president, Mr. O. S. Watkins, stated that the question was a very difficult one. The employer had several specific duties towards his apprentices, and the Executive Committee had instructed the racecourse inspectors to make visits of inspection in regard to housing and instruction of apprentices.
