Yesterday's event was bo exception, although all the two-year-olds were beeteu bg the improved Coon Song, jvlio.
led from end to end as on the opening day. Kosshire did best of the juveniles, but ho was suited by the ground, and is bred for miid-lavking, being by Catmint from Lady Penury. He is a solidly-built customer. Jayson and Terra Firma showed up really.well to divide third honours. It is singular that G. New, who trains Terra Firma, at one time had both Coon Song and Jayson in his stable. Paleta's brother, Vandyke, raced well to the turn, but then weakened, while Ganpat floundered in the bad ground. Limerick|s brother, Dunraven, was noticed putting m good work in the straight, and he looks an improved horse.
