Following a declaration that if elected he would abrogate every trade treaty "injurious to Canadian agricultural intertsts," Mr. B. B. Bennett, the Conservative Opposition leader, in a campaign address asserted that the abrogation of the New Zealand Treaty came fiVe years too late. The Conservatives had always opposed the agreement.
