PASSBOOKS ABOLISHED.
The Commonwealth Bank of Australia: has decided to discontinue the issue to customers of the present handwritten passbooks. Henceforth typed statements of accounts., will be issued to customers, and it will not be necessary to return them tq the bank. The statements will be prepared daily.
