MAN ROBBED OF £34

HAWERA, 26th June.
A guest in a private hotel at Hawera is stated to have been relieved of £34 last evening, his trousers being removed from under the mattress of his bed. The loss was dsicovered in the early hours of the morning.
It was also discovered that two casuals, who had booked in at the, hotel together had disappeared. The case is the fifth in two days of reported depredations by thieves.
