(By Telegraph.—Prew Aniociation.) AUCKLAND, This Day. After attending the. International Film Convention in New York, Mr. H. C. M'lntyre, of Sydney, says that there is a definite trend toward more elaborate films costing £100,000 to £300,000 each. Also a growing demand for colour photography. Tho new screen invention known as the wide film will not be introduced at least for a year. It would enable the screening of pictures filling a screen of tho width of a full proscenium arch.
