A LUCKY ESCAPE
Two people had a lucky escape from serious injury when a motor-van they were in went over a bank at Melling this morning. The van was driven by Mr. A. E. Thomas, a Lower Hutt shopkeeper, who was accompanied by his wife. Mr. Thomas was uninjured, but Mrs. Thomas was bruised arid suffered from shock. After attention by the City Ambulance she was able to proceed to her home.
