I Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follow, those for 7th June being given in parentheses:— Cotton.—Liverpool quotation, American middling uplaud, July delivery, 7.46 d per lb (7.79 d).' ' Rubber.—Para, TM pci-lb (7 5-Sd); Plantation smoked, 6 13-16 d per lb (6 3-Sd). Jute. —June-July shipment, £22 12s 6d I to £22 12s per ton (£23). Hemp.—None offering; Copra.—June-July shipment, South Sea. £8 10s per ton>(£l9 12s 6d); Plantation^ Rabaul, £18 15s (£l9 15s). Linseed Oil, £44 per ton (£43). Turpentine, 40s 3d per cwt (39s 9d). Osmiridium. —Prices unchanged.
