ILLICIT LIQUOR
A £100 FINE
BIG TRADE IN AUCKLAND
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The statement that as much liquor was sold after hours by some sly grog shops in 'Auckland as some hotels sold, in the daytime, was made by tho SubInspector when prosecuting a Dalmatian named Mate Nyich for selling liquor without a licence. The case was a sequel to a series of raids made by the police on such shops. The accused was fined £100.
