AUCKLAND, This Day.
The Leader of tho Opposition (the Right Hon. J. G. Coates) declined to comment this evening on the suggestion from Wellington that there should be a party truce during the coming session of Parliament in order to allow the Prime Minister (the Hon. G. W. Forbes) to attend the Imperial Conference without fear of his Government being defeated while he is absent. "I have not received from the Prime Minister any intimation that ho desires a truce, and until I have received an official communication on such a subject I am unable to make any comment," Mr. Coates said.
