Moon (Australia) beat Kleinschroth (Germany), 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, 6-0. de Morpurgo (Italy) beat Coen (U.S.A.), Tilden (U.S.A.) beat Hughes (England), and Borotra (France) beat Ohla (Japan) in five sets.
