CLEVERLEY WINS EASILY

In a professional boxing bout at the Town Hall last .night, Al£ Cleverley, of Wellington, secured a verdict' over Ben Miller, of Stratford, before the close of the second round. Miller was -heavily punished, and Cleverley was awarded tho fight when a knock-out was imminent.
According to privale advice received in Wellington, Miller was completely outclassed. Tliis is Cleverley's second professional contest, and Miller has liad 13 in Australia. Of the.se he lias won 12 (nine by the knock-out), with one draw and three losses. It thus appears that Cleverley has now struck form.
