EASTBOURNE'S RATES
SAME AS LAST YEAR
Eastbourne's rates this year, as fixed by the Borough Council last night,, are exactly the same as last year's. They are as follow: General rate of 2Jd in the £; Hospital and Charitable Aid rate of 11-16 th of a penny in the & ; No. 2 loan, district fund of £4500, rate of 13-64 th of a' penny in the £; separate rate for special overdraft, 11-16 th of a penny in the & ; No. 1 new steamer loan (£50,000) rate of 3 l-Bth pence in the £; No. 2 new. steamer loan (£8500) rate of 9-16 th of a penny in the £; No. 3 ferry loan (£13,900) rate of 7-Bths of a penny in the £; a sanitation fee of 30s on all rateable property having a building on it. ,
