A DANGEROUS PRACTICE
Despite notices on the station • and previous police prosecutions, people continue to trespass on the railway at the Petone Station by' Walking across the Hues from one platform to the other instead of using the subway or the overhead bridge. In the Magistrate's Court afc Petone. on Wednesday, before Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M., twelve defendants were . charged with this offence. Robert James Sharpe, Herbert William Richardson, Phyllis Craven, Anna Posselt, Norman Dennett, Allen Walter Davenport, Albert George Twist, Reginald Felding, Harry Jackson, and Victor Gear were each convicted and fined 10s and costs, while Grace Kellee and Carmen Leverd were convicted and ordered to pay costs only. -
