FIRE IN POST OFFICE

AUCKLAND, Thi,s Day. A iire broke out in the radio room on the first floor of tho Chief Post Office Building-shortly after s;,o'clock last evening. The officer 'in charge noticed papers burning underneath a table, and immediately summoned the city fire brigade. Before the brigade arrived however, the outbreak" had been extinguished. Repairs were quickly effected, and the station was out of commission for only a few minutes. ,
