The track was again in splendid order, making for fast and interesting racing. The totalisator handled £33,765 for the. day, compared with £32,841 on the second day last year, making the total for tho meeting £50,847 10s, compared with £54,7! M 10s last year. After che race, Rushtoo, driver of Ellegro, who finished third was fined £5 for failing to pull the horse back to the proper gait, and was disqualified for the race.
