Two members of the Titahi Bay Progressive Association, Messrs. B. Lynneberg and M. O. V. Dymock, waited on the Makara County Council yesterday to ask that certain improvements should be made in the bay. They contended that the' sanitary arrangements wero far from. sufficient, and they thought that a road through a local reserve should bo made so as to provide a suitable picnic ground for motorists. The chairman (Mr. E. Windley) promised to give the requests consideration, but could not guarantee anything before the road improvements were completed.
