OFF'TO LWERCAKGILL

NELSON, 28th February. The Mayor of Nelson (Mr. W. J. Moffatt), accompanied by Mrs. Moffatt, leaves Nelson this evening for Invereargill, where the Municipal Conference commences next week. The Town Clerk (Mr. G. A. Edmonds) left to-day. Mr. Edmonds, who is accompanied by Mrs. Edmonds, will pay visits to Oamaru and Tnnaru before returning to Nelson. Major-General Young, G.O.C. New Zealand Forces, arrived to-day and went on to Tapawera to make an inspection of the Territorial Camp.
