RE-ARRANGING THE TOUR
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, This Day.
It is understood that Mr. Eeese (president), Mr. Donnelly (chairman), and Mr. Winsor (secretary) of the New Zealand Cricket Council, ' are strenuously endeavouring to rearrange' the tour so as to play the third Test on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Gilligan could not accept the responsibility, without reference to the M.C.C., to extend the dates of tho third Test, which therefore ends on Monday.
■ Dr. Pope, of Sydney, who is travelling with the English team, has donated £100 towards the expenses of the next New Zealand tour of England in 1931. Tho weather is clearing.
