BOXING SENSATION
TWO CLAIMS TO CONTEST
DECISION AMIDST UPROAR

GISBOENE, 14th February.
The professional boxing match between Ted Morgan (lOst O^lb) and Eeg. Trowern (lOst 31b) had a most, unsatisfactory ending. Just at the close of the ninth round Trowern claimed ho had been fouled as the result of a collision with Morgan's elbow. The association's doctors I ordered Troweni out of the ring for examination, returning later a^id informing the referee that Trowern waa fit to light. Trowern subsequently reentered, tho ring, having he-eu absent three- or four minutes. 'When the referee gave instructions for the fight to proceed,. Morgan claimed, tho fight on the ground that Trowern had not been fouled. The referee then declared Trowern tho winner, amidst uproar.
