Thisinorning.'s sitting of. the Magistrate's Court was presided over by Mr, E. Page, S.M. ;
A first offender for drunkenness, was convicted and discharged, and another, who did not appear, had- his bail of 10s estreated.
A roinand to appear at Auckland on Wednesday next was granted in the case of Herbert Handley, a garage proprietor, aged 35, who was charged on two. counts of; obtaining money, totalling fiSOOjKx means of false-pretences.
