' "Oh, yes, I had some drink," replied "William Alexander Morris, cartier, aged 58, when asked how ho pleadied to a charge of being drunk while in charge of a, motor-lorry in Tory street {yesterday afternoon. The accused collided with another vehicle at the corner of Buckle street. In answer to the Magistrate, Morris feaid that he had given up driving and >-as going to take another job to-mor-row morning. Morris was fined £15, and had his driver's licence cancelled for twelve, anonths. He was allowed to pay the fine off at the rate of £1 a week.
