MINES DISPUTE ENDED

GREYMOTJTH, This Day. . \The State mines dispute; was settled yesterday as the result of negotiations between Messrs. H. E. Holland and J. O'Brien, M.P'sr with' the Minister of Mines, the Hon. W, A. Veitch. The bath attendant was conceded a.'wage of 18s 3d, and the case of pay for lost time for six miners was referred to the disputes tribunal. Work was resumed to-day. i
