HAWKES BAY RAM FAIR

HASTINGS, This Day. -Uie annual Hawkes Bay ram fair opened on the Tomoana Show Grounds this raorniug in fine weather. To-day 2944 flock rams, Lincoln flock ranis, and Cornedaie flock rams were offered. To-mor-row 2162 Southdown flocks, as well as small lots of .English and Border Leitesters, Byeland, and Cottledowns will be submitted. On Saturday all breeds of stud rams and stud ewes will claim the attention of purchasers. The total num ber of entries is 5573, compared with 5584 in 1929.
