STATE OF THE PIG MARKET.
An increased supply of piga has been 'received by the New Zealand Co-operative Pig Marketing Association, Limited, Hamilton, during the last few weeks. The 'supply, however, is extremely limited this year, chiefly owing to the large number of calves being reared and also to the high rates ruling for store pigs. It is anticipated that an increased supply will be received from now on. The London market is still firm, but local Bales were easier. The advances made to suppliers were as follows: Prime porkers, 601b to 1101b, 4%d; prime baconers, 1111b to 1801b, 4%d; heavy baconers, 1811b and over, 3d; choppers, 2d. The prices offered by bacon Rurers this week has been lowered by %d Her lb to 5%d per lb, computed weight at receiving stations,
