LONDON, 18th December.
Sir James Parr, in a statement, saids "I had intended in a few days to embark on a rush visit to New Zealand, where I would stay a fortnight and see friends. Unfortunately my associates in the Empire trade movement are most anxious for me to begia my new mission in March. I must therefore delay my return to New Zealand until the end of 1930. The promoters have asked me to be one of their chief spokesmen and organisers, and also secretary. The duties include considerable speech-making in the provinces, i have accepted the appointment, largely because I feel I can at present do better work here for New Zealand and her great primary industries than I could there. When I return to New Zealand I hope to engage in some useful service for the country." .
Sir James Parr's friends are wondering whether his new activities -mill leadto his entrance into British politics.
