CONVENT SCHOOL, JOHNSONVILLE.
The first year's work having concluded, the pupils of the Brlgldino Nuns, at Johnsonvllle, gave an entertainment in the local Kinema Hall on Tuesday, to a large and appreciative audience, consisting mainly of parents and friends of tho pupils. There were recitations musical items, action songs, choruses, and dances, a sketch from Dlckena, and a farce, the programme containing twenty items. All the children taking part in the performance were very prettily dressed, to suit the characters they were portraying.
