Now In its second week at the Grand Opera House ia that excellent alt-talking comedydrama, "Three Live Ghosts." "Three Live Ghosts" Is a milestone In the art of motlonplcturo making. It la based on the play that made stage history both in America and in England. "Three Live Ghosts" revolves around the experience of three British soldiers, who escape irom a German prison camp and return to London to find themselves legally dead in the eyes of the Government. Notable performances are given by Beryl Mercer, as "Old Sweetheart " and Charles M'Naushton, ttobert Montgomery, and Claud Allister, as the "Three Live Ghosts." starring Ramon Novarro, supported by Dorothy Jania and Reneo Adoree, "The Pagan" a Bound synchronised Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer production, is the new feature on the programme. The Pagan" Is a vivid romance of life in the Tropics, with Novarro playing a young Island chief, torn between his love of a native sweetheart and the treachery of an unscrupulous trader. Miss Adoree plays Madge, the adventuress from afar, and Miss Janls the Island girl. An Interesting Pathe News Is also tcreened, "STREET GIRL." A spirited and tuneful drama that clearly shows the possibilities of the new form musical film entertainment is the picture, "Street Girl • which will be the holiday attraction at the Urand Opera House, commencing on Thursday next, 26tli December.
